Cutting edge technology driven by algorithms, powered by big-dat a is being sold to police forces to predict future crimes. The black-boX nature of these algorithms makes them inscrutable, and they often get labelled as scientific and fair, whilst hiding embedded racial biases in law enforcement. South LA's kaleidoscope of cultures and history of racial tension is the platform to confront these policing tools.
