Referencing the movie, In the Mood for Love directed by Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai. The project trying to capture the essence of enigmatic of framing in the cinematography and translating it into a methodologies of designing from specific point and field of views.The marriage of the two disciplines provoked the creation of design brief of creating the school of enigmatic which combines the experience of two disciplines, architecture and film. In the current academic convention, architecture school often joint with engineering or planning department such as the Bartlett School of Architecture. The mood and feeling of spaces are often overlooked. The project is trying to capture and provoke the two very unique yet related disciplines. Make-believe in film and what creates our built environment, architecture.
