CUTTING EDGE SPATIAL DESIGN SCHOOL
The threshold between the imaginary and the real ceases to exist, as the gap between the digital and physical closes. Technological developments give these worlds an opportunity to coalesce, transforming the virtual into a component of the city, enabling the creation of a new built environment. The project is a near-future spatial design school for architectural design, game design and film. Future designers will use new technologies to study spatial design, following the evolution of VR, AR, MR and holographic technologies, where models can be experienced in an immersive virtual environment. Within the proposal, traditional classical architectural elements fuse with future design possibilities. The design is a coexisting of the virtual and the real, material and immaterial, past and future, real and imaginary, digital and physical.
